October 26th General Meeting Update
Guest Speakers Joe Dentici and Bo Xu
The general meeting began with a market update from our Sector Head of the Real Estate Sector, Austin. Austin highlighted some of the indicators in the housing market which can be found in the powerpoint.
Our Sector Head of the Consumers Sector Shadi, gave a maintaining coverage report on Perry Ellis, which is a stock in which our club is currently invested. Shadi’s report and analysis on Perry Ellis can be found on in the powerpoint.
Joe and Bo are both 2010 BU graduates from SMG. Joe is an Analyst at NewStar Financial in there Leveraged Finance group. Bo is and Associate at KPMG in their Valuation Advisory group. Joe and Bo spent the meeting discussing their roles at their jobs. They gave an alternative perspective to investment banks.
